Ladies,
Thank you to Linda, our fearless, or shall I say un-Frazzled leader.  Sad to say goodbye to those who had joined us but now are leaving to help with AWANAS.  Keep up in your books. 

The regular schedule will start soon  6-7:30pm  We are in the Senior Ladies Sunday School Room in case you have been gone for the Summer.  The Church Library has a few extra copies of the book to use during class, so even if you have missed, come and join us.

Our prayers go to those affected by the recent fires.

Frazzled Female - Day 1

I was looking through the leader guide at the back of the book after our lesson tonight.  I chuckled to myself when I read on page 103, "Don't feel you have to cover every activity in this leader guide.  Many more discussion starters are offered each week than you will be able to cover in a single session.  Consider the personality of your group as you make decisions about which topics to discuss.  Allow the Lord to lead your group discussions."  Did we even use a "discussion starter" tonight?  Our group is pretty comfortable apparently because starting discussions does not seem to be a problem for us. :)

From our discussion tonight we, as a group, seem to be frazzled about finding time to seek a relationship with our Heavenly Father.  Where does that fit in when we have all the responsibilities that come from being a woman?  We have jobs, kids, spouses, parents, household responsibilities, friendships, and community and church responsibilities, insert your own "distraction".  When are we supposed to sit still and listen to God? 

The book asks if you have ever been love deprived.  We all have relationships.  Every one of us has experienced a lacking in a relationship.  Our Father is reaching out to us.  He wants to have a relationship with us.  Find a place and a time to let him in.

"Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you"  (Matthew 6:33).
